God is speaking to me

January 22, 2012
By Jamee

Isaiah 40:10 - I think I can safely put my name in these verses, "I have chosen you, not rejected you, Jamee, do not be afraid, for I am with you; stop being anxious and watchful, for I am your God.   I give you strength, I bring you help, I upholdyou with my victorious right hand.

Feels like a resurrection/Happy Easter

LOVE Isaiah 35.  "bring forth flowers like crocus ... strengthen all weary hands ... steady all trembling knees ... the eyes of the blind will be opened ... the ears of the deaf will be unsealed ... the lame shall leap like a deer ... And through it all will runa highway undefiled which shall be called the 'Sacred Way'"

Favorite scripture passage for Lesson 5

November 27, 2011
By Jamee Stanley

"When the Lord has given you the bread of suffering and the water of distress, He who is your teacher will hide no longer, and you will see your teacher with your own eyes.  Your ears will hear these words behind you, "this is my way, follow it"  Isaiah 30:20-21

I LOVE this...

Thank you for your thoughtful posts!

I often think to myself that I would be a good soldier (if only the potential to harm wasn't there...). As long as I feel CLEARLY DIRECTED I am very good at completing necessary tasks which are for the benefit of many others. Interestingly enoug, I recognize within my nature a recoiling at "negative" instruction: being told what NOT to do...

"THIS is the way - follow it" is something I would like to hear every day.
