At Christmas time we sponsor numerous agencies through our Giving Tree Collection. Many of these agencies are shelters for adults or families who are homeless. Through the generosity of our parishioners we provide clothing, blankets, personal hygiene items, household items, tools, stuffed toys and other items to make Christmas special for someone who otherwise would go without during the celebration of Christ’s birth.
The giving Tree is set up in the Gathering space during the second weekend in Advent. It is decorated with ornaments indicating specific items requested by the agencies.
The gifts, NEW and UNWRAPPED are brought to the gathering space on the Third weekend of Advent. They are then sorted, packed and delivered.
