In 2007 Dawn joined St. Anthony on the Lake School. She earned a Bachelor of Science/Criminal Justice Degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. After working with the children in the Waukesha area through the D.A.R.E. program, Dawn decided to go back to school at Carroll University and earn a Bachelor of Education Degree. Dawn loves to “inspire students to love the world of science with the potential of them seeking careers in the area of science and engineering.”

Dawn oversees the Future City Competition, which is an extra-curricular enrichment club that meets two times per week after school. The students compete in a school competition. The top two teams move onto the regional competition held at the Milwaukee School of Engineering in the month of January. In 2012, Dawn was the first to pilot a shared iPad program in the middle school with students in grades 5 – 8. The program offered students innovative learning opportunities.

Dawn and her husband, Dave, have two sons, Jacob and Matthew. The boys are involved in hockey and lacrosse; and, as a family, the Arndt’s enjoy camping trips.
