Here at St. Anthony, we are so very blessed to have such gifted, bright, and generous parishioners.
Technicians, teachers, attorneys, musicians, accountants, developers, and artists regularly offer their time, talent, and treasure to further our mission. One such person is our artist in residence: Chuck Weber. Over the years, Chuck has offered his artistry to make our parish more welcoming and beautiful.
His latest piece, a hand-carved and painted wooden scroll featuring a beautiful oak tree and highlighting the four verbs of our Mission Statement, “Live. Seek. Commit. Serve,” now hangs proudly in our gathering space, and is featured on the cover of the enclosed annual stewardship renewal brochure. You can learn about the creation of this magnificent piece in the video to the right. It’s a wonderful story!
And so, as we once again renew our stewardship commitments of prayer, parish ministries, and sacrificial giving, I am asking you to look at the leaves of this tree of life, and ask yourself, “How am I being called to be fruitful? What return can I make to God for all He has done for me? What gifts can I offer to further the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ? What promise can I make?”
Please take the time to review the renewal materials (available electronically below), prayerfully consider your commitments, complete your pledge brochure, and be prepared to offer your pledge at Mass the weekend of November 17 – 18.
On behalf of entire pastoral staff and parish leadership please know how grateful we are for the generosity of your commitment. Together, let us renew our sacred promises so that, strengthened by God's covenant of unconditional love, we can continue to grow and bear fruit for His Kingdom!
