  • A willingness to listen and to consider many viewpoints
  • A willingness to make a commitment of time and talent

Please prayerfully consider nominating yourself and/or other parishioners you think might be willing to share their gifts in one of the following areas.  Enter name (and phone number or email if you know it) OF YOUR NOMINEES.

All nominees will be contacted by phone after nominations close. Please submit no later than April 7, 2019.

Pastoral Council

The Council is a vehicle for fulfilling the pastoral mission of the parish. It does this by fostering growth within the parish family and the sharing of spiritual gifts and talents; by encouraging positive relationships among all members of the parish, and by collaborating with other parishes, especially those parishes in our cluster and the wider community.

Standing Committees

Life Long Formation Committee

Formation in our faith is a lifelong journey. This Committee helps set goals and visions for the lifelong faith formation of our parish. Plans and develops programs and activities with the Faith Formation Directors and Pastoral team for all ages, children through adults.

Human Concerns Committee

This Committee discerns and plans for how St. Anthony can best provide the basic needs of persons in the parish and wider community. Also seeks to educate and raise consciousness on issues in relation to justice and peace.

Prayer and Worship Committee

Liturgy has been defined as “the work of the people.” This Committee oversees the communal worship of the parish and coordinates the various subcommittees and liturgical ministries.

School Committee

Our St. Anthony on the Lake parish-based school is one of the many wonderful ministries in this vibrant, active parish. We have many programs to offer our students in grades K3-8. We count on volunteers to help support the programs and opportunities of our fully-accredited school. (Nominees need not have a child attending St. Anthony on the Lake School but should have some type of educational background or experience.)

Stewardship Committee

The Committee’s mission is to lead people to growth as mature Christian disciples by deepening engagement in prayer, service and sacrificial giving. Its vision is that all parishioners live intentional lives of holiness and generosity. “Be holy, for I, the Lord your God am holy.” Leviticus 19:2

All nominees will be contacted after nominations close.
