Reflections on the Lenten Scripture Readings

Beginning with Ash Wednesday, Lent is a time of preparation and reflection. We are called to suppress our physical wants and raise our spiritual awareness to be better prepared for the celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection and the Easter season.

You are invited to enter more deeply into this holy liturgical season by participating in a six-part series during which we will explore the Scripture readings of Lent. This will be an opportunity to read and reflect together – much like an “Lenten Scripture Book Club” – where we ponder and process the anticipated readings for the upcoming Sunday. The sessions will be facilitated by Al McCauley.

Due to the current COVID-19 limitations, the number of participants will be limited to 20 for each time frame. There is a participant fee of $15 per person/$25 per couple.

For more information contact our Director of Adult Faith Formation, Al McCauley, at [email protected] or Maureen Michaels at [email protected].
