Al McCauley will be offering an in-depth study of one of the most important and influential theological works in Christian history. Participants will read the book, explore this great Saint’s culture and context, and investigate the major themes that are found in Augustine’s timeless autobiography.
This 8-week series is designed for the serious student who can commit to scheduled reading assignments and consistent attendance. We will gather in meeting room F&G on Thursdays, January 6, 13, 20, 27, February 3, 10, 17, 24; from 10:00-11:15 a.m. The eight sessions will include a combination of presentation and conversation, as we work thorough this spiritual classic together. The cost for this course is $40, which includes a copy of Confessions and weekly handouts.
