Mrs. Heather Waldraff, 5th Grade Teacher
Hello, fellow St. Anthony on the Lake families! I am Heather Waldraff, and I have joined the SAL faculty as the new fifth grade teacher. I could not be more excited!
Originally from Northern Virginia, I was born and raised in the south; but, as they say, I got to Wisconsin as fast as I could! My husband, Chris, and I moved to Wisconsin from South Carolina last summer with our two daughters, Charlotte (10th) and Susanna (2nd). We have moved all over the east coast and south together since we were married, yet, in just one year, we agree that Wisconsin is our official favorite place to call home.
In my “downtime,” I enjoy reading non-fiction (especially Russian history!) and I love to cook (especially anything involving pasta!) I am also looking forward to learning how to cross-country ski. Any suggestions and/or advice would be greatly appreciated!
I love teaching first-class fifth graders, and I am grateful for the opportunity to assist in nurturing their souls and their minds. I also feel especially blessed to be teaching alongside such professional, supportive, and kind teachers at SAL. God is so good!
