Mrs. Ann Fons, Faith Formation Director of Youth (Grade-6-8) and Family Ministry
My purpose here at St. Anthony on the Lake is to connect youth in grades 6 – 8 to Jesus Christ. I do this through directing the grade 6 – 8 faith formation classes; serving as a member of the Family Program Design and Implementation Team; coordinating social and service events for youth in grades 6 – 8, and serving as the liaison between the Faith Formation office and the Athletic Committee.
My husband Jerry and I have enjoyed being members of this parish since 1995. Our three children, Dan, Sarah and Andrew grew up with the Family Program and Christian Family Movement. Jerry & I feel blessed to have them still in the area, and still active in the parish music and youth ministry programs!
I have been working professionally in the Faith Formation Department since 1999. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UW-Madison, and have almost completed my Masters in Religious Studies from Cardinal Stritch University. As the daughter of a Religious Education Director, I began serving as a volunteer religion teacher while in high school. Serving as a catechist ever since has deepened my own faith and provided me with opportunities for continuing formation.
Please contact me if you have any questions about our middle school youth ministry programs. I also coordinate the High School mission trips – so you can contact me with questions about that too.
