Katie joined the St. Anthony on the Lake staff as the first grade teacher in 2020. She graduated from Valparaiso University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, special education, and Spanish. After moving to Wisconsin, Katie taught special education in Wauwatosa before being a stay at home mom. Katie loves encouraging the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth in students, and sharing her love for reading with her students!

Katie and her husband, Phil, have four children, who are students at St. Anthony on the Lake. In her free time, Katie enjoys reading, cheering for the Packers and Badgers, boating with her family, and playing with her black lab/boxer mix named Belle. They are blessed to be a part of the St. Anthony on the Lake community!
