Your Summer Adventure

Men of Encouragement, Women of Courage

Summer Adventure for Adults

As part of the Lifelong Faith Formation’s “Summer Adventure” week, there will be a special opportunity for the adults of our parish to gather for spiritual reflection. Take time for an evening of presentation, prayer, and processing, including separate breakout sessions for men and women.

After an opening prayer service, Dr. Kathie Amidei and Angie Flannigan will lead female attendees in a closer look at the faith-filled example of St. Lydia, who showed courage and openness to the missionary work of St. Paul. The men, lead by Al McCauley and Tyler Reed, will examine the life and legacy of St. Barnabas whose encouragement of St. Paul’s ministry changed the course of history.

Both men and women will be encouraged to prayerfully reflect on the lessons of these saintly role models and develop a personal spiritual action plan for their summer. This opportunity is open to adults of all ages and backgrounds who are looking to be inspired to live lives of encouragement and courage.

Inspired by Barnabas and Lydia, biblical models of encouragement and courage, develop a spiritual action plan for your summer.
