Middle School Ministry
Middle School Ministry provides ways for Youth in Grades 6, 7, & 8 to grow in faith! We strive to connect youth to God, our Faith, each other & caring adults; because at this age youth are ready to grow spiritually, eager to connect with others outside the family, and vulnerable to adverse cultural influences. Listed below are some of the many ways we develop those connections.
Coming next - The Parish Mission From March 3 to 6. We have lots of great activities planned for those in grades 8 and under while their parents are listening to Jeanne Cotter! For grades 6 - 8 these activities include prayer, music, art, wood-working, learning games, service and more!
Thank you to Melanie from Your Choice to Live, for the special presentation on February 18 and 19. Parents and youth were moved by her story. Following her talk parents and children were encouraged to share healthy ways to seek excitement, and names of who they can turn to when they feeling sad, afraid or stressed. Melanie stressed that we need to be willing to talk about this issue, and to seek help when we need it. Please know that the staff at St. Anthony on the Lake is always willing to listen and to help.
There will also be a panel presentation on the opioid epidemic in Waukesha County at St. Anthony on the Lake on April 29 following the 9:00 Mass. Submit your questions and register for the event here.
