Mission Trips

Mission Trips

St. Anthony on the Lake Parish partners with different organizations to provide life-changing, Christ-centered service opportunities for youth in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12.  These trips are an opportunity to live out the love of Christ, to commit to growth in faith and community, and to serve those we meet in our travels.

This year our sophomores travelled to South Dakota to serve on Pine Ridge Reservation with YouthWorks.

Our juniors and seniors travelled to Detroit, Michigan and served with Young Neighbors in Action.

Over the past 21 years, we have sent almost 2000 participants on 87 Youth Summer Mission trips.  Teens and adults have grown in their faith while serving others in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, West Virginia, New York, Massachusetts, and Canada.  It is hard to fathom the people that have been served, the lives that have been changed, the love that has spread from all this good work.

We are grateful for the consistent generosity of the participants and sponsors of these trips.  We also want to continue growing.  An advisory committee will help us discern the best ways to do that.  Do you have a passion for Youth Mission Trips?  If so, please contact Ann Fons.
