Beginning a new school year together!

Many people in Wisconsin appreciate the distinct seasons we experience each year. Each season brings a sense of predictability and familiarity, while also offering opportunities for change, growth, and renewal. We know what to look forward to, yet each new season has something different to offer.

The school year has a similar rhythm. There are traditions that ground us, familiar routines that bring comfort, and a strong sense of community that connects one year to the next. At the same time, every school year brings new opportunities, new friendships, new challenges, and new possibilities for growth.

As we begin this new school year Anthony on the Lake School — — a new season for St. Anthony on the Lake School-- I want to assure you of a few things.

Our teachers are deeply committed to the success of every student in our school. They are grounded in the traditions that make our school special and committed to providing steady support, excellent instruction, and opportunities for students to grow in both knowledge and faith. The loving effort our teachers and staff put into preparing their classrooms and our school over the summer was truly impressive. Their care and dedication are already evident in the welcoming environment our students will enter.

While this is my first year as principal, I am grateful to be part of the St. Anthony on the Lake School community. I look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff to provide an excellent education, to help every student feel loved and cared for, and to assure our parents that their children are known, cherished, and seen as children of God.

Our school community is also blessed by the continued support of the parish of St. Anthony on the Lake. The parish supports Catholic education in so many practical and meaningful ways, and we are especially grateful for the prayers that surround our school. The connection between our school, our families, and our parish is one of the traditions that makes this community so strong.

As we begin this new school year together, I invite you to join us in prayer:

Lord, please be with the school community of St. Anthony on the Lake this school year. Help us be witnesses of our faith to others, and help us be peacemakers inside and outside of our school of community. Let this year be a time of learning, building friendships, and ultimately growing in our relationship with You. We ask all these things in Your name. Amen.

May this school year be filled with the traditions we treasure, the relationships that strengthen our community, and the new opportunities that help each of us grow. I am grateful to begin this new season with all of you.
