Striving to Continue the Mission
As we gather for our Open House this weekend, it is fitting to reflect on our patron, St. Anthony of Padua, whose feast we celebrate on June 13. St. Anthony is often known as the saint people turn to when something is lost, but his deeper mission was helping people find their way to Christ and discover a sense of belonging in the Church through his preaching and witness.

Our parish strives to continue that mission. Through worship, faith formation, education, service opportunities, fellowship, and countless ministries, we try to help people find connection with God and with one another. The Open House after the 9:00 Mass this weekend is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the ministries and committees that make our parish community so vibrant. After the 9:00 Mass, enjoy some donuts, meet parishioners, and hear about the many good things happening in our parish community.
Whether you are a longtime parishioner, a new member, or a visitor joining us today, we are glad you are here! We hope you will take time to explore, ask questions, and discover ways to become more involved.
St. Anthony reminds us that faith grows through invitation. Consider inviting a friend, neighbor, or family member to join you for Mass, an adult formation session, the Moms Group, a service project, or any of the many opportunities that help people build friendships and deepen their relationship with Christ. A simple invitation can open the door to a lasting connection.
May St. Anthony intercede for us, helping all who enter our doors to find a welcoming home, a supportive community, and the joy of walking together in faith.
Thank you for being here and helping to make St. Anthony on the Lake a special place to call home.
