Immigration: Facts, Fiction and Faith
More than 170 people gathered for “Immigration: Fiction, Facts, and Faith,” presented by Darryl Morin, National President of Forward Latino, to better understand how our Catholic faith invites us to engage thoughtfully with current and relevant immigration issues. Many thanks to the Our Faith In Action Committee, a subcommittee of Human Concerns, for their dedicated work in organizing this event.
If you were unable to attend, we invite you to view the recording of the presentation below.
This engaging and eye-opening session cut through the noise surrounding immigration by unpacking common myths, sharing key facts, and exploring how our faith calls us to respond. Participants gained a deeper understanding of how immigration policy and human dignity intersect.
Darryl Morin has worked with leaders from both major political parties on meaningful immigration reform and is a member of St. Mary Catholic Faith Community in Hales Corners, Wisconsin.
