Pastoral Council Transitions

Fr. Tony Zimmer, Pastor • July 18, 2025

From Your Pastor's Desk

Every year at this time, we discern with hope our new Pastoral Council members,
and we send forth with gratitude our outgoing ones. After an evening of prayer,
shared visioning, and dialogue led by
Debbie Klimko, we discerned our newest
members. They are as follows:

  • Scott Krebs   (returning for another 3-year term)
  • Flo Prospero (returning for another 3-year term)
  • Colleen Wahlen (returning for another 3-year term)
  • Robin Hicks

They will each serve a three-year term. I am confident that they will lead and serve our faith community well. We welcome them with joy and thanksgiving! On June 23rd, at another evening of prayer and dialogue, we discerned our Pastoral Council officers and liaisons.
They are as follows:

  • Pastor:  Fr. Tony Zimmer
  • Trustee Treasurer:  John Hooyman
  • Trustee Secretary:  Sheri Schmit
  • Chair:  Scott Krebs
  • Vice-Chair:  Ellen Knippel
  • Secretary:  Flo Prospero
  • Finance Council:  Sandy Wysocki and Kate Spitz
  • Prayer and Worship:  Jamie Von Reuden
  • Human Concerns:  Robin Hicks
  • School:  Patricia Ashley
  • Lifelong Faith Formation: Craig Colopy
  • Stewardship: Colleen Wahlen

Again, I know that our officers and liaisons will bring their faith and passion to each of their ministries, serving to bring our parish mission statement to life. We also sent forth our outgoing Pastoral Council member, Levi Frazier. We wish him all the best as he continues to serve our parish in a different capacity.
I am also happy to announce that
John Hooyman has once again accepted the position as our Trustee Treasurer. We are so very blessed to have such intelligent, faith-filled, hard-working, and generous servant leaders in our parish. We are in good hands with these our newest servant leaders. Thanks be to God!
